See here for what this series is about.

This short is by Darshan Kunasagran.

Director’s Note: Nisaptham is an exploration of the internal battles that often go unnoticed. It follows Sasi, a man who seemingly has it all, yet grapples with an invisible struggle that isolates him from those around him. The film aims to highlight the importance of mental health awareness and the need for deeper connections in a world that often settles for surface-level interactions.

In crafting this narrative, I sought to portray the nuances of emotional disconnect and the silent battles many face daily. It’s a call to look beyond the facade and engage in conversations that matter, to truly ask, “Are you okay?” and mean it.

Darshan Kunasagran is a filmmaker based in Singapore, working across directing, writing, editing, and cinematography.
