The Wonderful Grace Kelly Blogathon returns for a 6th edition!

The intrepid blogging duo The Wonderful World of Cinema xThe Flapper Dame is back! We’ll be honouring, with you, our favourite actress with The 6th Wonderful Grace Kelly Blogathon! As this exquisite lady would have been 95 in November, we couldn’t skip the occasion to celebrate her life and career by bringing this blogathon back (I think the last time we hosted was in 2019). Anyway, we’re here to correct the situation by offering you this essential blogging event and sharing our love of Princess Grace with you.

This year, we’ll do things differently since we’ll start the blogathon on what would have been Grace Kelly’s birthday (November 12). We’ll wrap up things on the 14, with the idea in mind to be closer to the weekend.

If you wish to participate, take note of the following rules first:

1- Choose a topic in connection with Grace Kelly and submit it here or on Emily’s blog. Don’t forget to provide the name of your blog and the URL.

It can really be anything related to Grace Kelly.
Since she only starred in 11 films, we’ll allow duplicates, but a maximum of two person/film (unless it is taken from a very specific angle). Of course we invite you to think outside the box as there is more to discuss than her films.
We’ll allow a maximum of one entry/person.
Can I participate if I don’t have a blog? Sure! You can reach me via email at virginie.pronovost@gmail.com and I’ll add it to my blog as a guest post.
All articles must be new material

2- Once your subject has been approved, grab one of these beautiful banners crafted with care by Emily and display it on your blog and social media to help us spread the word.

3- The event will start on November 12, 2024, and end on November 14, 2024. On these dates, we will publish a new post with the articles.

4- A few requests:

That is not a blogathon for Grace Kelly haters. If you don’t like her, this blogathon might not be for you. We are here to celebrate her, after all. Any blog post that seems disrespectful towards her won’t be included in the blogathon.
If you want to participate, SUBSCRIBE FIRST. We don’t want you to write an article and assume we’ll add it to the blogathon even if you haven’t subscribed first. We will accept last-minute subscriptions, but subscribe!
Please mention our blogs as well as the event in your article. And don’t forget to share the links to the other entries. Be sure to share the ones we’ll post on November 12, 13 and 14.
